I am running for Justice of the Peace because our local court is no longer meeting the standards our community deserves.
When I previously served, I ensured that our court met the time standards established by the Arizona Supreme Court, delivering timely, fair, and accountable justice. Today, the Copper Corridor Justice Court is failing to meet those same basic standards across multiple case types, including criminal cases, evictions, civil matters, and orders of protection.
This is not about politics. It is about restoring accountability, leadership, and trust in a system that should serve the people efficiently and fairly.
I have the experience. I understand the law. And I know what it takes to fix what is broken and get our court back on track.
What’s at stake is the integrity and effectiveness of our local justice system.
Taxpayers are spending over $800,000 annually to fund a court that is underperforming, while generating a fraction of that in fines and fees. Even more concerning, this court is operating with one of the largest deficits in the county while handling a smaller caseload than others.
When a court fails to meet basic performance standards, it impacts real people. Delays in criminal cases, evictions, and orders of protection can have serious consequences for families, victims, and our community as a whole.
We cannot afford inefficiency, lack of accountability, or mismanagement in our justice system.
- The Copper Corridor Justice Court is failing to meet 8 of 9 required standards
- $823,939 of tax dollars spent annually with only $167,328 recovered
- Largest deficit despite the smallest caseload in all of Pinal County
- Delays impacting criminal cases, DUI's, evictions, and protective orders
